 Treated Decking Spindle – Stop Chamfered 40mm x 40mm x 900mm

The Treated Decking Spindle – Stop Chamfered 40mm x 40mm x 900mm is a high-quality, pressure-treated timber baluster designed to provide strength, stability, and timeless style to decking and balustrade systems. Manufactured from durable softwood and precision-finished with a classic stop chamfer detail, this spindle is ideal for enhancing both safety and visual appeal in residential and commercial outdoor spaces.

Product Features / Specifications:

Crafted from responsibly sourced softwood, each spindle is pressure treated to protect against rot, fungal decay, and insect attack. The stop chamfer profile delivers a clean, decorative edge that complements traditional and contemporary decking designs alike.

With its square 40mm x 40mm section and 900mm length, it is perfectly sized for standard guardrail applications.

Detailed Product Benefits:

Pressure treatment ensures long-term durability, extending the lifespan of your balustrade system even in challenging outdoor environments. The treatment process allows preservative to penetrate deep into the timber fibres, creating robust internal protection rather than just surface resistance.

The stop chamfer design not only enhances the aesthetic finish but also softens the visual lines of the spindle, delivering a refined look while maintaining structural integrity. Its consistent dimensions allow for easy alignment and secure installation between handrails and base rails.

This spindle is engineered to provide reliable support within decking balustrade systems, helping meet safety requirements while maintaining an attractive finish.

Applications and Versatility:

The Treated Decking Spindle is suitable for a wide range of applications, including:

  • Domestic garden decking projects
  • Raised platforms and patios
  • Balcony balustrades
  • Staircase guardrails
  • Commercial outdoor seating areas

Whether you're constructing a new deck or refurbishing an existing structure, these spindles provide both practical safety and decorative appeal. Their classic profile blends seamlessly with various timber components and railing styles.
