The Hoben Davis Vermiculite 100 Litre bag is a high-performance, lightweight insulation and aggregate material, widely used in construction, fire protection, and horticultural applications. Manufactured from naturally occurring exfoliated vermiculite, this product offers excellent thermal insulation, fire resistance, and moisture retention, making it a trusted solution for both domestic and commercial projects.

Product Features / Specifications:

This vermiculite presents as a clean, golden-brown granular material with a lightweight, free-flowing consistency. It is non-combustible, chemically inert, and easy to handle, delivering outstanding insulation and soundproofing properties while remaining environmentally friendly.

Detailed Product Benefits:

Hoben Davis Vermiculite provides superior thermal insulation by trapping air within its expanded structure, reducing heat transfer and improving energy efficiency. Its fire-resistant nature makes it ideal for use in fire protection systems, chimney linings, and cavity insulation. The material is also moisture-resistant, preventing rot, mould, and decay, while remaining breathable. Lightweight yet durable, it places minimal load on structures and is easy to mix with cement or other materials when required.

Applications and Versatility:

This versatile vermiculite is suitable for a wide range of applications including loft and cavity wall insulation, fireproofing steelwork, screeds, and chimney backfill. In horticulture, it enhances soil aeration and moisture retention for improved plant growth. It is equally effective in both functional construction uses and specialist applications where thermal and acoustic performance is essential.
