Concrete Commons (Solid) 73mm

Engineered for durability and precision, the Concrete Commons (Solid) 73mm brick  is a robust masonry solution ideal for a wide range of structural applications. Made from high-strength concrete, this solid unit offers a reliable, long-lasting alternative for both internal and external walling projects.

Product Features/Specifications:

The Concrete Commons (Solid) 73mm brick features a smooth, uniform grey finish and solid construction, providing superior compressive strength and resistance to weathering. Designed for heavy-duty use, it is ideal for load-bearing walls, foundational work, and general building construction.

Detailed Product Benefits:

Manufactured to high tolerances, this solid concrete brick offers exceptional dimensional stability and strength, reducing the need for excessive mortar and ensuring a consistent, professional finish. Its dense composition enhances acoustic performance and thermal mass, contributing to more energy-efficient builds. The 73mm profile is particularly suitable for renovation and extension work where matching existing brick courses is crucial.

Applications and Versatility:

The Concrete Commons (Solid) 73mm brick is highly versatile and suitable for a wide variety of structural and non-structural applications, including:

  • Internal partition walls
  • External cavity wall construction (behind a decorative facing)
  • Below-ground applications such as basements and foundations
  • Retaining walls and garden structures
  • Industrial and commercial developments

While not intended for facing use, it can be used where appearance is secondary to function or rendered/painted over for a more finished look.

Features & Benefits List:

  • High compressive strength for structural integrity
  • Solid construction enhances thermal and acoustic performance
  • Durable and resistant to moisture and frost
  • Smooth finish for easier handling and installation
  • Suitable for load-bearing and non-load-bearing applications
  • 73mm height – ideal for refurbishments and matching traditional brickwork
