75 x 175mm Sawn Carcassing Dry Graded C24 7x3

Engineered for strength, reliability, and versatility, the 75 x 175mm Sawn Carcassing Dry Graded C24 7x3 timber from Emerys Builders Merchants is a premium structural-grade softwood ideal for a wide range of construction applications. Kiln-dried and strength-graded to the C24 classification, this carcassing timber is a go-to choice for high-load structural work.

Product Features/Specifications:

This timber is sawn and kiln-dried to ensure dimensional stability and ease of handling. Manufactured from high-quality Scandinavian softwood, the C24 grading ensures it meets strict strength and durability standards, making it perfect for demanding structural applications.

Detailed Product Benefits:

Our 75 x 175mm Sawn Carcassing timber is precision-cut and dry-graded to C24 standard, ensuring a superior strength-to-weight ratio. The kiln-drying process reduces moisture content, which minimizes the risk of twisting, splitting, or warping over time. This makes it ideal for both internal and external structural use, offering peace of mind on every build.

Whether you’re constructing a roof, building a frame, or crafting floor joists, this timber delivers the load-bearing strength required for building regulations compliance. The smooth sawn finish also allows for easier handling and faster installation.

Applications and Versatility:

Perfect for both domestic and commercial construction projects, this C24-graded timber is suitable for:

  • Roof structures, including rafters and purlins
  • Floor joists and decking frames
  • Wall partitions and studwork
  • General joinery and structural frameworks

Its strength and resistance to deformation make it an ideal choice for projects that demand long-lasting structural integrity, while its natural softwood appearance can be stained or painted to meet aesthetic preferences in exposed areas.

  • Kiln-Dried: Reduced moisture content for enhanced stability and reduced movement
  • Sawn Finish: Easier to work with and suitable for cutting, drilling, and fixing
  • Versatile Applications: Suitable for a wide range of structural and general construction uses
