65mm Ibstock Chesterton Red Smooth Class B Perf Engineering Brick

The 65mm Ibstock Chesterton Red Smooth Class B Perforated Engineering Brick is a high-performance, durable brick crafted from high-quality clay and precision-fired to achieve superior strength and a smooth finish. Designed for structural integrity in demanding environments, this engineering brick is ideal for both load-bearing and below-ground applications.

 Product Features/Specifications:

This brick features a rich red colour with a smooth finish, offering a clean, modern aesthetic. Manufactured to Class B engineering standards, it delivers exceptional compressive strength and low water absorption, making it suitable for use in harsh conditions where strength and resilience are paramount.

Detailed Product Benefits:

The Ibstock Chesterton Red Smooth Engineering Brick is engineered for outstanding structural performance. Its Class B rating ensures a minimum compressive strength of 75N/mm², supporting its use in retaining walls, foundations, manholes, and damp-proof courses. The perforated design reduces the overall weight while improving bonding with mortar, enhancing stability and workability on-site. Its low water absorption rate (<7%) adds resistance to frost and chemical erosion, extending the brickwork’s life in challenging environments.

Applications and Versatility:

Highly versatile, this engineering brick excels in both functional and aesthetic roles. It’s perfect for basement walls, structural walls, bridges, industrial units, and infrastructure projects where moisture, pressure, and external wear are concerns. Its smooth red finish also allows for visible use in architectural projects where durability doesn’t have to compromise appearance.

Features & Benefits List:

  • Class B Engineering Brick for high strength applications
  • Smooth red finish for clean, architectural appeal
  • Perforated body for enhanced mortar bonding and reduced weight
  • Excellent compressive strength (≥75N/mm²)
