47 x 250 mm Sawn Carcassing 10x2 Long Lengths C24

The 47 x 250 mm Sawn Carcassing (10x2) C24 is a high-quality, strength-graded softwood ideal for structural applications. Precision sawn and kiln-dried, this premium carcassing timber offers durability, consistency, and reliability for a wide range of building and construction projects.

Product Features/Specifications:

This C24-graded softwood is planed and finished to exacting standards, offering a smooth, uniform surface suitable for both visible and concealed applications. The timber is kiln-dried for reduced moisture content, ensuring dimensional stability and minimizing the risk of warping or twisting. Its high structural strength makes it perfect for load-bearing frameworks.

Detailed Product Benefits:

C24 carcassing timber is sourced from slow-grown softwood, typically Scandinavian spruce or pine, providing superior density and resilience. The grading ensures that the timber meets rigorous European standards for structural integrity, making it suitable for critical construction tasks such as floor joists, roof rafters, and wall plates. Its kiln-dried process enhances performance by reducing shrinkage and improving ease of handling. With its smooth finish and consistent quality, the timber can be treated or painted for additional protection and aesthetic appeal.

The 47 x 250 mm C24 Sawn Carcassing timber is ideal for a variety of construction purposes, including:

  • Roof construction and trusses
  • Floor and ceiling joists
