MDF 2440 x 1220 x 9mm (Medium Density Fibreboard) FSC

The MDF 2440 x 1220 x 9mm (FSC Certified) sheet is a high-quality, versatile engineered wood product designed for a wide range of interior applications. Manufactured from fine wood fibres and resin, this Medium Density Fibreboard offers a smooth surface and consistent strength, making it ideal for joinery, cabinetry, and furniture-making.

Product Features/Specifications:

This MDF board features a uniform light brown finish with a dense, smooth surface that's easy to machine, cut, and finish. With a thickness of 9mm, it offers a reliable balance between rigidity and flexibility, ideal for decorative and structural uses. The board is FSC certified, supporting responsible forestry practices.

Detailed Product Benefits:

Engineered with precision, this MDF sheet offers excellent dimensional stability and minimal warping, even under varying humidity. Its fine fibre composition allows for precise edge detailing and smooth finishes—perfect for painting or veneering. Unlike natural wood, it is free from knots and grain, reducing the risk of imperfections or splitting during work. The 9mm thickness is especially suitable for lightweight structures and panelling, providing strength without excess bulk.

From professional carpentry workshops to DIY home projects, this MDF board adapts to a wide variety of interior applications. It’s ideal for:

  • Cabinet and cupboard construction
  • Wall panelling and wainscoting
  • Furniture components and flat-pack systems
  • Shelving, drawer bases, and wardrobe backs
  • Decorative mouldings and CNC routing projects

Its consistent core makes it a preferred material for precision cutting, engraving, and custom installations in both residential and commercial spaces.
