Introductory Statement:

Our 3x1 Treated Carcassing (22 x 75mm) is a high-quality, pressure-treated softwood timber, designed for structural and general construction use. Ideal for both internal and external projects, it provides long-lasting performance and durability in all environments.

Product Features/Specifications:

This carcassing timber is planed for a smooth finish and treated with preservative to enhance resistance against rot, decay, and insect attack. The 22 x 75mm dimensions make it a versatile size, suitable for a wide range of framing, battening, and support applications.

Detailed Product Benefits:

Manufactured from sustainably sourced softwood, this carcassing timber undergoes a high-pressure treatment process, ensuring deeper preservative penetration for long-term protection. Its dimensional stability reduces the risk of warping and splitting, making it ideal for construction environments where reliability is key. The smooth finish not only makes it easier to handle but also ideal for visible or semi-visible installations where appearance matters.

Applications and Versatility:

The 3x1 Treated Carcassing timber is highly adaptable, making it a staple for builders, landscapers, and DIY enthusiasts alike. Use it for:

  • Roof battens and wall studwork
  • Timber framing and boxing in
  • Shed construction and garden structures
  • Fence rails, edging, and decking subframes
  • Internal support structures or partitioning

Its clean appearance and treated protection also make it suitable for outdoor decorative builds when paired with appropriate finishes.

Features & Benefits List:

  • Pressure-treated for enhanced durability
  • Resistant to rot, decay, and insect damage
  • Smooth-planed for ease of use and cleaner aesthetics
  • Consistent sizing for reliable structural applications
  • Sourced from responsibly managed forests

Technical Specifications:
